OUR PARTNER
Nina Butler is the founder of InRetreat. Her mission is to curate exceptional travel experiences that inspire a feeling of wonder and awe.
Nina grew up in the South African wilderness roaming barefoot beneath sunny skies, in awe of earth’s wonders. She was a high-school drop-out who traded the classroom for a yacht skipper’s qualification and started working on private yachts in the Mediterranean at 16 years old. This was the ultimate ‘university of life’ that led her into various culinary, viticultural, spiritual, and artistic pursuits around the world.
She eventually navigated back to formal education and defended a Doctorate in Philosophy in 2015. Soon thereafter, she launched a start-up offering bespoke, multilingual yoga training online. This flowered into an in-person yoga travel and adventure experience business - Nina Retreats - and various consulting opportunities in brand strategy and communication.

Manshausen, Norway
Manshausen is a small private island in one of the most beautiful regions of Norway, near the breathtaking Lofoten islands. The area is an outdoor adventurer’s dream with endless opportunities to explore amid a dramatic unspoiled landscape.
A Manshausen retreat could feature kayaking among the fjords, a Viking cave expedition, and an intimate conversation with renowned polar explorer Børge Ousland. Daily coaching, yoga/meditation, a nordic sauna, and time for reflection are included.
